The house

The Chicago & Aurora roundhouse went up in 1856. It is one of the oldest limestone roundhouses left in the country. Years of shop accidents left a building that ghost-tour operators still call the most haunted room in Aurora. Two Brothers poured a brewery and a restaurant into the stalls. You can eat and drink without a lantern. Diane Ladley still walks the house after dark with paying guests. The beer is the public invitation. The roundhouse is the reason the invitation has an echo.
