The house

Miller’s Pub has been a Wabash tavern since 1935, the kind of Loop room that fed second-shift and after-theater for a century. The haunt is lighter than the Congress and the Palmer House across the street: a tavern that has closed out more lives than it can count. It is in the guide because it is a public bar you can still walk into after a show, in a cluster of haunted Loop hotels. Come for a late plate. The El does the rest.
