The house
Public Enemy Pub occupies a downtown Crown Point room a short walk from the Old Jail — the one Dillinger famously left. The haunt is the town: a jail with a body of lore, a courthouse lady, a square that ghost tours still sell. This is a public bar, not the jail tour. Come for a drink after you have already given the courthouse enough of your evening.
